We Black Folk presents the Village Voices Open Mic; Rooted in the spirit of folk tradition, this open mic celebrates the timeless power of community storytelling through song, rhythm, and word. In partnership with Just Bookish, we gather at Fields Corner to honor the lineage of Black folk expression. Village voices is where music and memory meet, and every voice adds to the chorus. Whether you come to share or simply to listen, this is a space to connect, create, and carry the stories that keep our culture alive.
